Adolescents older than 12 years
Adolescents older than 12 years (when boarding the outward flight) pass for adults. If you wish the unaccompanied minor service please download and fill in this form - Unaccompanied Minor / Meet and Assist Service (MAAS). Charge for this service is 60 EUR per segment.
French resident children under the age of 18 who are traveling without their parents/legal guardians on a valid national identity card on flights between European Economic Area (EEA) countries must have a form of indemnity signed by the police or the mayor of the town in order for them to leave the country. They will be unable to board the flight without this form. This document is also known as 'Autorisation de sortie du territoire'.
Children (6-11 years)
Children are subject to full fares and the service of unaccompanied minor is necessary. Please download and fill in this form - Unaccompanied Minor / Meet and Assist Service (MAAS). The charge is 60 EUR per segment.
Infants (8 days - up to and including 23 month)
Infant has to be included on your seat booking by making an infant reservation. Infants pay a 10% of the fare.
For safety and insurance requirements, infants must be accompanied by a passenger aged 18 years or above and booked in the ratio of one infant per adult.
Infants under the age of 2 years as at date of travel may fly provided they sit on an adult's lap. (One infant per adult). Infants do not qualify for a free baggage allowance. If the infant reaches the age of 2 years prior to the return journey they must pay the applicable fare, taxes, fees and charges for that part of the journey. Proof of age may be required so please have the infant's birth certificate or passport available for inspection at check-in.
Newly born infants (0-7 days)
Newly born infants (0-7 days) are not accepted on SmartWings flights.
