How can I check-in?

Airport check-in counter opens 2,5 hours and closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

For flights from Tel Aviv and Marsa Alam the airport check-in counter opens 3 hours before departure. For flights from Dubai, Tel Aviv and flights longer than 5000 km the airport check-in counter closes 60 minutes before departure.

Online check-in opens 30 hours before scheduled departure and closes 60 minutes before scheduled departure. The service is only available to passengers of scheduled Smartwings flights with numbers QS1000 - 1261, QS1300 - 1999, QS2012-2017, QS2036-2041 and flights of partner airlines operated by Smartwings on the specified flights. Currently it is available on departures from Split (SPU), Tel Aviv (TLV), Madrid (MAD) , Paris (CDG), Kosice (KSC), Ibiza (IBZ) and Naples (NAP) , Kavala (KVA), Dubai (DXB), London (LHR), Nice (NCE), Málaga (AGP), Almería (LEI), Las Palmas (LPA), Fuerteventura (FUE), Lanzarote (ACE), Tenerife (TFS), Valencia (VLC), Palma de Mallorca (PMI), Menorca (MAH), Ibiza (IBZ), Olbia (OLB), Lamezia Terme (SUF), Cagliari (CAG), Catania (CTA), Brindisi (BDS), Naples (NAP), Moscow (SVO), St. Petersburg (LED), Rostov (ROV), Kazan (KZN), Larnaca (LCA), Corfu (CFU), Heraklion (HER), Rhodos (RHO), Zakinthos (ZTH), Kos (KGS), Chania (CHQ), Thessaloniki (SKG), Preveza (PVK), Kefalonia (EFL), Kavala (KVA), Karpathos (AOK), Samos (SMI), Santorini (JTR), Hurghada (HRG), Marsa Alam (RMF), Bratislava (BTS), Ostrava (OSR), Brno (BRQ), Las Palmas (LPA), Fuerteventury (FUE), Lanzarote (ACE), Tenerife (TFS), Ponta Delgada (PDL) and Prague (PRG). Please note that for departures from Moscow (SVO), St. Petersburg (LED), Kazan (KZN) and Rostov (ROV), passengers are required to have a boarding pass printed since the mobile format is not accepted by the airport authorities. In case of departures from Antalya (AYT), Izmir (ADB), Hurghada (HRG), Marsa Alam (RMF) and Samara (KUF) airport authoritis do not accept any form of online boarding pass and a passenger must always go to the check-in desk to have his boarding pass printed.

Online check-in cannot be applied to passengers without electronic ticket numbers and passengers requiring special assistance at the airport. Upon successful online check-in, passengers will receive a confirmatory e-mail containing a boarding pass. If the passenger does not have any baggage to check-in, he or she may proceed directly to the departure gate. Otherwise, they must contact the airport check-in counter or the baggage drop-off. On rare occasions, passengers may be asked to check their travel documents after their on-line check-in first at the airport check-in counter. If the online check-in service is unavailable for any reason, the passenger must check-in at the airport check-in counter.

Can I choose my seat?

You can choose your favourite seat when you buy your ticket or at any time up to the time of check-in.

  • Standard seat: 15 EUR
  • Premium seat: 35 EUR

If your flight is a part of holiday package from travel agency, please contact the agency to choose your seat. Pricelist of your tour operator will be applied.

The service may not be available on some flights. Seats may be chosen no later than 2 days before departure.

Emergency Exit Row Seating Regulations
Only passengers in compliance with the following rules and regulations may be seated in emergency exit rows:
1) You're at least 12 years old,
2) You can read, understand and follow instructions given by the crew,
3) You are physically capable and willing to open the emergency exit door in the case of an emergency,
4) You are not a person with limited mobility and/or orientation,
5) You are not travelling with a person dependant on your assistance in the case of an emergency,
6) You do not require seat belt extensions,
7) You are not carrying an animal on board of flight,
8) You are not pregnant,
9) You are not aware of any other limitations (e.g. medical or psychological) which could prevent you from complying with the above-listed rules and regulations or cause harm to you or others.

How much liquid may I take on board?

Liquids carried on board must be in a container of no more than 100ml. All liquids should be carried in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with a total capacity of up to 1 litre. The carriage of liquids in checked-in baggage is not recommended and we do not accept liability for any damage they may cause.

Are free meals served on board?

Onboard refreshment can be bough in the Menu. You can also pre-order your favourite food in advance when booking your flight or 48 hours prior the departure via My bookings section. The pre-order may not be available on some flights. If your flight is a part of holiday package from a travel agency, please contact the agency to choose your meal. Pricelist of your tour operator will be applied.

What food can I buy on board?

Actual Menu may be found here. This menu is valid for flights to/from Czech Republic and may vary on other flights.

Can I have my pills or syringe on board?

Yes, all medicines may be carried on board only. Carriage in checker baggage is not permitted. When carrying your syringe on board, you may be required to present the doctor's letter in English proving that you need to have this item with you.

Can a baby car seats be used on board?

Yes, but only those certified for use in air travel and placed on an extra seat that must be purchased in advance by phone. The costs of an extra seat equal the price of adult passenger ticket without airport taxes.

The car seat must be certified for use in air transport.

Can I upgrade to Business Class?

Business Class is currently available on selected flights. You can upgrade your Economy Class ticket to Business Class by calling us at least two hours before departure.
