What diseases require the doctor´s approval to fly?

The properly filled Medical Clearance Form may be required by our ground or cabin staff in the following cases:

• Heart stroke up to 21 days from the event,
• Stroke up to 10 days from the event,
• Newly born children up to 7 days upon the birth,
• Decompression disease
• Pneumothorax up to 14 days from the event,
• Requirement for stretcher/travelling with incubator,
• Needing medical oxygen during the flight,
• Inability to keep upright seating position,
• Head injury up to 14 days from the event,
• *Fractures (except for uncomplicated fractures of limbs and fingers that occurred more than 72 hours before departure),
• *Plaster cast (except for plaster cast on limbs and fingers, if the injury occurred more than 72 hours before departure),
• Heavy vein thrombosis,
• Heavy mental disease (the passenger must be carried by the escort, which has the adjacent seat ensured),
• Any serious or acute infection disease including chickenpox.
