Can I change my flight?

You can change your flight in My bookings within 72 hours of the original departure time.

Can I cancel my booking?

Ticket refunds are subject to the conditions of the price package under which the ticket has been purchased.

Tickets purchased under the LITE and PLUS price packages are non-refundable, including any charges for additional services purchased with the ticket. In such cases, only unused airport charges will be refunded.

Tickets purchased under the FLEX price package are refundable for a fee of 60 EUR* for each untraveled segment. In cases of refunds, the unused segments of the ticket will be refunded.

For refunds of tickets purchased via our website, please fill in the Contact Form.

If you have purchased your ticket outside Smartwings channels, please contact the place of purchase with requests for refunds.

If your flight is part of holiday package from a travel agency, please contact the agency to cancel your trip. The terms of your contract will apply.

Can I choose my seat?

You can choose your favourite seat when you buy your ticket or at any time up to the time of check-in.

  • Standard seat: 15 EUR
  • Premium seat: 35 EUR

If your flight is a part of holiday package from travel agency, please contact the agency to choose your seat. Pricelist of your tour operator will be applied.

The service may not be available on some flights. Seats may be chosen no later than 2 days before departure.

Emergency Exit Row Seating Regulations
Only passengers in compliance with the following rules and regulations may be seated in emergency exit rows:
1) You're at least 12 years old,
2) You can read, understand and follow instructions given by the crew,
3) You are physically capable and willing to open the emergency exit door in the case of an emergency,
4) You are not a person with limited mobility and/or orientation,
5) You are not travelling with a person dependant on your assistance in the case of an emergency,
6) You do not require seat belt extensions,
7) You are not carrying an animal on board of flight,
8) You are not pregnant,
9) You are not aware of any other limitations (e.g. medical or psychological) which could prevent you from complying with the above-listed rules and regulations or cause harm to you or others.

How can I make a group booking?

Group booking shall mean a booking for 10+ passengers. Payment is made via invoice and the names may be added/changed untill the check-in is finished. To book a group, please make a reservation via Reservation form. The group fares may vary from the individual fares.

What can I do if I miss my flight?

You can change your flight in My bookings within 72 hours of the original departure time.

How can I book my flight?

Fill the required information in the reservation form. You will pay by Visa card, Mastercard or Paypal. You can also book by phone, at the Travel Service/Smartwings desk at Terminal 2 of Prague Airport (open non-stop) or most of the booking agencies.

What if my online payment is not going through?

Please check the account balance and the online transactions feasibility of your credit card. If it still does not work, try using different web browser or book your flight by phone (Service Fee 30 EUR / person).

Can I prebook an extra seat?

The price of extra seat equals to the price of the ticket for a person less the airport taxes. Booking the service does not entitle the passenger to carry additional luggage. The extra seat may only be purchased by phone.

How can I book book a flight for an unaccompanied minor?

For children between the ages of 6 and 11 traveling unaccompanied by an adult, “Unaccompanied Minor” (UMNR) assistance must be requested. We provide this service only on flights operated by Smartwings and Czech Airlines. We cannot provide the service on flights operated by other carriers. The service is not available for children under the age of six, who must always be accompanied by an adult.

The service can be ordered no later than 48 hours before departure. To order it, contact the ticket agent or our contact center. The price of the service is CZK 2500* per destination and the child must have five completed copies of this form. The ticket price for the child is the same as for an adult.

If the flight is part of a tour package, order this service from the travel agency. The price is subject to the price list of the agency.

*The fee includes refreshments on board, i.e. children’s food and hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks according to the child’s wishes. Free baggage allowances for unaccompanied children are governed by the price package in which their ticket was purchased.

Can I purchase a travel insurance via Smartwings?

Yes, you can purchase a travel insurance from ERV insurance company when booking your flight at www.smartwings.com.

Can I change the name of the passenger on the ticket?

For safety reasons, it is not possible to change the names of passengers on tickets already issued. If you need to change the name of the passenger, you can cancel the original ticket as per the conditions of the respective price package under which the ticket has been purchased and make a new reservation with a different passenger name.
