Airline company Smartwings is significantly expanding the scope of its scheduled flights. In its 2025/26 winter schedule, the airline is adding seven new destinations across Europe from Prague: Brussels, Barcelona, Porto, Bucharest, Bilbao, Toulouse, and Rome. Flights will be launched in stages between October 23 and 26. Besides introducing the new services, the company is increasing the frequency of some of the existing ones - there will newly be 12 flights a week to Málaga and up to 3 flights a day to Paris.
On Thursday, October 23, the largest Czech air carrier will launch three new services - to Barcelona (4 times a week), Rome (4 times a week), and Porto (twice a week). The following day, Smartwings will launch a new service connecting Prague and Bilbao, Spain (twice a week). On Saturday, October 25, regular services to Toulouse, France (twice a week) will commence, and on Sunday, October 26, the airline will add scheduled flights to Brussels (12 times a week) and Bucharest (7 times a week).
“The expansion of the Smartwings portfolio is a response to the growing demand for direct flights to European cities. In fact, the demand for flights to the newly announced destinations has far exceeded our expectations. We believe that the new Smartwings offering will appeal to business travelers and tourists alike,” says Michal Váňa, Commercial Director, Smartwings.
