Smartwings airline company is adding two new destinations to its offer of scheduled flights from Prague in the 2026/2027 winter flight schedule. From October 22, it will operate scheduled flights to Venice, Italy, and direct flights to Bergen, Norway, from October 26.

New connections to Bergen and Venice will complement Smartwings’ extensive network of scheduled flights from Prague to dozens of destinations across Europe, strengthening the company’s offer for the upcoming winter season.

The direct connection between Prague and Venice will be available four times a week -- on Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. This will strengthen Smartwings’ presence on the Italian market and expand its offer of direct flights to one of the most popular weekend travel destinations.

On 26 October 2026, Smartwings is launching scheduled flights to Bergen, the second largest city in Norway and the starting point for trips to Norwegian fjords. The connection between Prague and Bergen will be available twice a week -- on Monday and Friday. Bergen will become another northern destination in Smartwings’ flight schedule, offering travelers a convenient direct flight to one of the most attractive regions in Scandinavia.

Expanding the offer of scheduled flights is part of our long-term strategy to strengthen connection between Prague and attractive European destinations. Both Bergen and Venice are popular tourist destinations. We believe that the new direct connections will be appreciated not only by Czech travellers but also foreign visitors to the Czech Republic,” ,“ says Michal Váňa, Sales Director, Smartwings.

The new connections to Bergen and Venice will complement other additions to Smartwings’ offer in the 2026/2027 winter flight schedule. On October 23, Smartwings is launching new direct flights from Prague to Lisbon. At the same time, the airline will also increase the number of flights from Prague to Porto, Bilbao, and Toulouse from two to three per week. Another important innovation concerns the service to Nice, which until now has been operated only in the summer season.
